Miami Gardens, FL - The City of Miami Gardens Vice Mayor Katrina Wilson, Councilman Reggie Leon and Councilman Robert Stephens, III are proud to announce the 3rd Annual Juneteenth Celebration, a community-wide event that honors excellence among Black Service Organizations and will showcases outstanding local talent.

Rain couldn’t stop the joyous, festive celebration of Juneteenth at this year’s drive-in holiday event in Miami Gardens on Saturday afternoon. “unity, just having fun, hanging out with family friends and just celebrating,” attendee Cassandra Paul-Noel said. The Third Annual Juneteenth Park-In and Party Celebration kicked off friendly conversations, live music and good food at Hard Rock Stadium.

Miami Gardens was recognized as hosting one of the top Juneteenth Celebrations in the country last year by Essence Magazine, according to a city of Miami Gardens news release.
